Tip’s latest sets an example for matured vets who still like to get their hands dirty. Dime Trap is dually nostalgic and relevant, and cements T.I. amongst rap’s all-time elite.

This might is his best effort after a string of uneven post-Paper Trail albums. It's probably not as much of an evolution of T.I.'s style as he claims, but it's a more-than-worthy addition to the rapper's canon.

Dime Trap is very much alive, and having entered his elder statesmen phase with, frankly, astounding grace, T.I. looks to remain present for quite a while.

For the first time in years, he sounds less like a copyright lawyer and more like a contributor to a culture he loves. ... T.I has dabbled in a range of sounds since his debut, but that range resonates as renewal here. The record falters when T.I. gets maudlin.

T.I. is joined by a long list of high-profile guests, including Sam Hook on the gospel-kissed "Seasons"; Young Thug and Swizz Beatz on the moving "The Weekend"; and Anderson .Paak on the booming R&B-trap hybrid "At Least I Know." Triumphant album highlight "More & More" with Jeezy harkens back to T.I.'s 2000s sound, a booming, bass-heavy anthem that recalls his early hit "What You Know" and P$C's "I'm a King."

Instead not having any radio hits I believe all the die hard Tip fans will really enjoy his new project. For me the highest points are the just blaze's production and most of the lyrics. Expand

With great, impactful and energetic beats, with his flow that combines well with the production.

T.I offers us a depth into a lot, and one of those things is current state of trap, I liked when he said something i've been saying for a while. "Just because it's trap music, doesn't mean it has to be one-dimensional".

I guess my main issue with this project is some of the features overstay their welcome, Yo Gotti and Young Thug actually feel like they have more time in the song than T.I and i'm in this project for T.I not them, even though i like The Weekend quite a bit.

I'm glad T.I is back, and this album is the perfect come back album. Reminding everyone what trap can be if done well
